About Us

Who We Are: We are a very friendly group of Miniature Pinscher (MinPin) owners and enthusiasts. We love our MinPins and consider them members of our family. Some may say we are a little "MinPin crazy" and that our MinPin children are "spoiled". (You'll have to decide for yourself if this is true.)

What We Do (Our Purpose): We meet approximately once a month to allow our MinPins to interact and play with each other. This gives their parents/owners the opportunity to interact with each other as well. We meet in different locations every month. Since our foundation in May 2007, we have met in local dog parks, a dog-friendly restaurant that offers a doggie menu, on-leash parks (where we've held dog birthday parties and gone on hikes) and in various members' homes. We hope to meet in other locations in the near future.

Our Partners: On April 13, 2008, we met with the San Diego Miniature Pinscher Meetup for the first time. We met at the San Clemente Dog Park (a halfway point for both groups) and had a wonderful time! We hope to make this an annual event.

Membership Information

Membership Titles and Awards: In order to encourage more member participation, members will received the following titles (and a certificate to commemorate it) by attending meetups as follows:

All members that have attended 3+ meetups will receive an "Honorable Mention"
All members that have attended 5+ meetups have attained "Bronze Membership" status
All members that have attended 10+ meetups have attained "Silver Membership" status
All members that have attended 15+ meetups have attained "Gold Membership" status
All members that have attended 20+ meetups have attained "Platinum Membership"status
All members that have attended 25+ meetups have attained " Double Platinum Membership"status

Your title will be listed on your member page as well as on a special Member Hall of Fame. Click on this link or the one below to see those members who have received special membership titles.

A Word about RSVPs: Please take a moment to RSVP to ALL our events. Whether your response is 'yes', 'no', or 'maybe', it's important that you RSVP as it helps the organizers to better plan for our events.
